Fire crews attend a combine harvester on fire
FIRE crews were called out this afternoon to a fire to a combine harvester.
The call-out came at 2.38pm. Fire engines from Kirkbymoorside and Malton attended.
According to a fire spokesperson, the combine harvester was on fire in a field of crops, near Swainsea Lane, Pickering.
The fire was in the engine compartment.
Firemen used a hosereel jet and breathing appartus when extinguishing the fire.
