A CAR caught fire in a North Yorkshire village after it was shunted by another vehicle.
Fire crews were called to the fire in Thorganby, near Wheldrake, at about 6.40pm yesterday.
A Toyota Yaris was "well alight following a small shunt," a spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Crews used one hose reel and breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
