Cyclist taken to hospital following road collision
A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with leg injuries following a collision in Ryedale.
The crash happened on the B1257 near Barton-le-Street and Slingsby this morning, just before 7am.
A police spokesperson said that the crash "involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a cyclist.
"The cyclist - a man in his 50s - was taken to hospital with leg injuries.
"The driver of the Corsa, a man in his 20s, was uninjured."
Any witnesses can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference number NYP-08092017-0050.
