THE Salvation Army’s annual Big Collection takes place this month.
Malton Salvation Army members, friends and volunteers will be out collecting in the local community in Ryedale from September 9 to 23.
One hundred per cent of money raised will be used in the Salvation Army’s work caring for people who are vulnerable or in need.
Major Matthew Bennett, Corps leader, said: “Our supporters are our lifeblood. Malton Salvation Army church and community centre is part of a network of more than 800 centres delivering services to people and communities day-in, day-out. We are so grateful.”
