POLICE have put out an appeal for information after a van was stolen from somebody's house.
The theft of the white van took place between 8pm and 11pm on August 31 from a property on Petch Garth, Kirkbymoorside.
The police community message said: "We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for information about anybody seen in the area acting suspicious at the time of the offence."
