POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a reports of a man "acting suspiciously" in Norton.
It was reported that the man was acting suspiciously in the woods in the Westfield Way and Scarborough Road areas of Norton.
It happened at between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Sunday, August 20.
Police said he was shouting and waving "what is believed could have been a knife".
The man was described as having rough-looking grey hair and beard.
He was wearing a ripped grey t-shirt and dark trousers.
Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances.
