A RINGLEADER of drugs gang has been arrested after going on the run in February.
Sonny Elms, 24, from Greater Manchester, and Paul Daniel Heaton, 26, both gave police the slip after they failed to appear at York Crown Court on February 1 to be sentenced for conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin in Scarborough.
Elms was eventually arrested in Manchester on July 25 and will be sentenced on Friday, but Heaton is still on the run.
Five members of the same gang have already been jailed for a total of almost 20 years for the same offence.
Heaton is 5ft 11ins tall and is proportionately built. He has blue eyes, short hair and is often unshaven. He speaks with a Manchester accent.
Anyone who has information about him should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and select option 1.
Any immediate sightings should be reported on 999.
