Gazebo and baler fires tackled by fire services
FIRE crews have attended a baler on fire and a burning gazebo.
The callout to the baler was received at 2.45pm yesterday, Sunday August 20.
Crews from Helmsley and Pickering attended the scene at Great Edstone, Kirkbymoorside.
They used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Later that same afternoon, crews from Helmsley and Easingwold were called at 4.45pm to Main Street, Gilling East, near Helmsley.
A gazebo, attached to a house, was on fire.
The fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of the firemen; crews carried out ventilation of the structure.
