Emergency services called to vehicle fire on A64
EMERGENCY crews were called to a vehicle on fire on the A64 yesterday.
Firefighters from Malton received a called at about 12.20pm to attend the incident at West Heslerton.
A spokesman for the fire service said the cause was believed to be an overheated wheel bearing and there was no fire.
Crews gave assistance to the elderly couple occupants.
