YEAR 13 students from Malton School enjoyed their end of term prom at the York Novotel Hotel.
Before they set off they gathered outside the school for pictures and to be waved off by friends and family.

Mark Dent, head of Malton School sixth form, said: “The evening was a huge success, with welcome drinks, then an excellent meal.
“As well as academic congratulations and best wishes for results day, special awards were given out for a variety of achievements during their time in the sixth form, ranging from sixth former most likely to be Prime Minister to best dancer. There was a disco and then the students drifted off into the night, to continue enjoying the bright lights of York.”
