Man rescued from house blaze
A MAN had to be rescued from his home in an early morning drama when a fire started in his kitchen.
Firefighters believe he had left something cooking without keeping an eye on it.
They donned breathing apparatus to go into his house after the alarm was raised at 5.48am on Sunday and got him out.
The drama took place in The Pastures, Filey.
