ST MARY’S Priory Church, in Old Malton, is hosting an open gardens and scarecrow trail on Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm to 6pm.
Churchwarden Helen Morgan said they had held the event last year following a couple of years break and it had been a great success.
“Last year we raised about £1,200 towards repairing the church floor and we had a good number of visitors,” she said.
Programmes are £3.50 and available from St Mary’s Community Centre where there will also be refreshments, tombola and a plant stall. A variety of gardens will be open, along with 20 scarecrows in the trail.
