Cyclist named after death crash in York
A CYCLIST who died eight days after a crash in York has been named as Brian Cottom, 56, from New Earswick.
Mr Cottom was involved in a crash with a blue BMW 130d on Malton Road, York at 4pm on Saturday, June 3.
North Yorkshire Police has renewed its appeal for witnesses who recall seeing a cyclist, riding a sliver bike, or the blue BMW, before the crash to contact them, so they can establish what happened.
