PEOPLE in Scarborough are being asked to help draw up a new council wards for the borough council.
The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking local people to get involved in a consultation, which is the first part of a review to review ward boundaries. The body wants to cut the current 50 councillors down to 45. Local people have until September 4 to contribute, via www.lgbce.org.uk.
