VILLAGERS in Weaverthorpe will be opening their gardens to the public this weekend to raise funds for Marie Curie.

A wide variety of gardens will be on offer along with displays by artists, woodcarver, musical instrument maker, photographic exhibition, poetess, caricaturist and crafts.

There will also be a classic car tour of the Wolds with a prize for solving the most clues and Armed Forces Day Tribute with vintage tractors.

The village’s glamping site will host a fun dog show and Malton Museum will have an exhibition with objects from the collection, while plant sales, garden jumble, table top/garage sales will be situated around the village

Tea and cakes will be available in the village hall.

Entry by programme £4 from village hall or any participating garden, with accompanied children under 16 free.
