MALTON’S newest foodie initiative launches this weekend in the town’s Market Place.
Street Food Sundays is a new concept bringing alfresco dining, the very best street food trucks and a great atmosphere on the first Sunday of June, July and August, from 11am to 3pm. The plan is to get people to relax, slow down and enjoy the centre of Malton while soaking up and the atmosphere. In the event of bad weather organisers have laid on tents and canopies. Each Sunday will see a changing rota of the street food stalls .
Tom Naylor-Leyland, director of Visit Malton, who are launching the initiative, said: “I’m particularly excited to see people eating outside over the summer enjoying affordable alfresco experience in Malton.”
