POLICE have launched CCTV stills of a man they wish to speak to following damage to a local shop.

An appeal by North Yorkshire Police says that at around 7.10pm on Tuesday March 28 the man pictured was seen to enter the One Stop Shop on North Marine Drive in Scarborough.

Following an altercation with a member of the public, a fridge was kicked over and items were knocked off a shelf, causing damage to stock.

Police would now like to speak to the man pictured "to determine the circumstances around the incident".

Anyone who recognises the man, or has information which would assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Jade Gallagher-Barrass on 101.
