POLICE are looking for two men after a £100 flag belonging to a fast food chain was stolen.

The theft took place at about 7.30pm on Monday, April 17.

Two men approached the McDonald's on Huntriss Row in Scarborough. One of them picked up one of the flag poles that was flying a McDonald's flag.

Both men then ran off down Huntriss Row in the direction of the Grand Hotel.

Police say the flag and pole will cost about £100 to replace.

A pair of CCTV images have been released  of two men police would like to speak to to help their investigation.

Anyone with any information about the identity of the men or the whereabouts of the flag is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Robert Wardle, quoting incident number 12170065667.
