An artist's impression of the Spark:York plans
It beats me how anyone can think that a pile of shipping containers selling food can benefit York in any way whatever (Street food site is given spark of life, May 12).
It seems to me that York is being dragged down by all these senseless ideas to be ‘with it’.
Has anyone asked the people who will be affected by the noise, smell and traffic that will ensue? Why not set up a few hoopla stalls and a circus ring as well?
Let’s really go to town to make the city great.
