A MOUNTAIN rescue team has been called out this morning after an elderly man fell in the woods.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) were called out just after 11am to a woodland near Wintringham, where an 80-year-old man had fallen.
A team and incident controller went to assist the Yorkshire Ambulance Service with the evacuation of the man. They were stood down after ambulance staff managed to get the man to a waiting ambulance.
