VOLUNTEERS are busy piecing together a large collection of puzzles in readiness for the return of Ryedale’s jigsaw festival.

St Helen’s Church in Amotherby is set to host the ‘Art exhibition with a difference’, on Saturday, April 8, at Amotherby Village Hall, 10am until 4pm.

There will be a display of more than 200 made-up jigsaws which visitors will have the opportunity to buy.

The idea for the festival came from Reverend Martin Allwood and his wife Collen from St Helen’s Church.

Funds raised will support the church and Ryedale Carers Support.

Rev Allwood said: “We are looking forward to hosting the festival again this year and we have some impressive jigsaws on display."

Entry to the festival will be £2, which includes a £1 discount voucher towards the purchase of a puzzle.
