PUPILS at Terrington Primary School have been working on a variety of projects from Romans to reading.
Senior teacher Philip Jach said: "The Year 5 and 6 children planned and constructed scale model toilets with connecting sewage systems as part of their Roman project, while the Year 3 and 4 children planed and constructed a mosaic floor with a piped underfloor heating system. We tested it and got very wet."
Pupils have also been working on a whole school author project on 'Fantastic Fridays'.
Mr Jack said: "Each child studied an author of their choice and wrote letters to them. We received responses from the UK, America and Canada. One pupil, Edward Howghton, even received a personalised response from the Tolkien estate with a signed book."
