MALTON and Norton household waste recycling centre (HWRC) will be closed from Monday, March 6, for essential concrete works.

The site will re-open on Monday, March 20.

The nearest household waste recycling centres open during the closure period are:

• Seamer Carr HWRC, Dunslow Road, Eastfield, Scarborough;

• Tholthorpe HWRC, Flawith Lane, Tholthorpe; 

• Thornton-le-Dale HWRC, Outgang Lane, Thornton-le-Dale; 

• Wombleton HWRC, Cockerhill Lane, Wombleton. 

Household waste recycling centres are open 8.30am to 4pm each day except Wednesday, when all are closed.
