A CHEF has been banned from Scarborough for life after he circulated sexual photos of his former girlfriend via the internet to her current and former employers.

Kevin Bull, 58, couldn’t cope with the ending of the relationship after the woman found out about his wife, Jon Gregg, prosecuting, told York Crown Court.

Bull bombarded her with text messages and when she blocked his phone number, got another phone and used that.

He also used a fake email address and a fake Facebook account to send the photos by email and post them on a business Facebook page.

The Honorary Recorder of York, Judge Paul Batty QC, said: “This was heartless offending, designed to humiliate, to degrade, to embarrass your former girlfriend.”

Bull, of Newham, London, who works as a chef, pleaded guilty to four charges of revenge porn and was given a 12-month prison sentence suspended for two years on condition he does 30 days’ rehabilitative activities.

He was also ordered to pay £300 costs and given an indefinite restraining order banning him from Scarborough, sending or posting the photos anywhere and from contacting the woman by any means.

For Bull, Mahren Nassiri said: “He was self-centred and self-obsessed to such an extent that he was only thinking of himself and nobody else.”

Bull drank too much and took cannabis, which led to him suffering from depression.
