TWO members of a gang who supplied heroin and crack cocaine in North Yorkshire are still on the run.

Sonny Elms and Paul Daniel Heaton both failed to appear at York Crown Court on Wednesday, February 1, where they were due to be sentenced for conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Five members of the gang are serving prison sentences that add up to almost 20 years, with jail terms ranging from one-and-a-half years to six years, three months, but Elms and Heaton did not turn up at court to be sentenced.

Searches have been carried out in the Manchester area for Heaton, 26, of Sidney Road, Manchester, and Elms, 24 of Mansfield Avenue, Manchester, and North Yorkshire Police now believe they may be in the Scarborough area.

Anyone who has seen them or knows of their current whereabouts, is urged to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 or 999 and warned not to approach them.
