RYEDALE Dog Rescue (RDR) is holding pop-up shop to raise funds for the charity, as well as encouraging more people to volunteer.

The shop will be open at 23 Wheelgate Malton, from Sunday to Saturday, March 11, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm, and Sundays, from 10am to 4pm.

RDR is a registered charity which rescues and rehomes dogs in the Ryedale, Scarborough and East Riding areas.

A spokesman for the group said: “The shop is open to raise funds for RDR and all goods for sale will have been donated or made by the volunteers and supporters.

“Please come along and support us by either picking up a bargain or enquiring about one of our dogs for rehoming.

“Find out how you could help us as a volunteer and make a difference.

“Our opening day on Sunday, February 26, will include a complimentary drink and nibbles for all through the door, not to mention a treat for their four legged friends.
