A MAN is in police custody after allegedly making threats to kill in Pocklington.
Humberside Police were called to Cherry Orchard Mews at about 7pm on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman said: "A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after calling us."
The spokeswoman said nobody was injured as a result of the incident, but would not confirm local reports that a crossbow was part of the investigation.
The man remains in police custody at this time.
