AN expanding company is supporting the community by creating a website for Pickering Memorial Hall.

Web Site Made Easy Ltd, in Pickering, is owned by Andrew Rouph and Andrew Paine, who are both live in the town.

Andrew Paine said: “ We set up the business in 2006 in a bedroom and now with more than 250 clients we continue to grow.

“Our office in Pickering Memorial Hall is the perfect base for our main core of customers, which are within a 20 mile radius of Pickering.

“We do though have customers in many locations throughout England, as well as in Scotland and France.”

Andrew said their services have grown from basic website design to now being able to offer fully managed solutions.

“We can help with every aspect of website design, hosting the web site and have also recently branched out into branding and managed hosting packages,” he said.

Andrew Rouph said that when they moved from their old offices and into the Memorial Hall just over two years ago they had discussed with the trust, which runs the building, their dated website.

“We were keen to help and donate a free website to the guys to help as they are a registered charity,” he said. “Over the last couple of months we decided to push on and get the new website done and achieve our goal, which was to help promote the Memorial Hall to the public.

“Many locals still do not realise the potential that the Memorial Hall has in terms of functions and parties etc, as well as corporate meetings and keep fit classes.”

Mal Danks, secretary to the trustees of Pickering War Memorial Charitable Trust, said they would like to thank Website Made Easy.

“The website that they have so generously produced, free of charge, for the hall is excellent,” she said.

“It is well-illustrated, easy to operate and has no unnecessary flourishes which distract from its purpose.

“I am sure that local people will enjoy using this website, which does justice to our modern, easy to access, fully compliant and well equipped outstanding local facility.”
