Warning over cold caller
RESIDENTS are being warned over a cold caller who was going door to door in the Kirkbymoorside area yesterday claiming to be an ex-offender and selling items from rucksack.
He is described as white male, wearing beanie hat, medium/stocky build, 5'7" tall. It is believed the man was not in possession of a Pedlar's Certificate. Anyone with further information should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101.
