PUPILS at Norton College have been showing off their artistic talents.

Singers, magicians and musicians lined up to entertain audiences at the annual talent show Norton's Got Talent.

Headteacher Phil Loftus and music teacher Victoria Briggs took on the role of judges with first place awarded to Lucy Peel, from Year 11. In second place was Danni Recchia and Sian Broadbent, both Year 11, and in third place was Jude Dixon, Year 9.

Emily Prior, Year 12 student, said: “As one of the organisers it is so rewarding to see the talent show come together so professionally after all the careful preparation put in by the students. Everyone had a fantastic night.”

Victoria Briggs, music teacher, added: “Each year I never fail to be impressed by the talent of our students. The vibe in the hall was superb and I must congratulate all the participants, the winners and the student organisers for making Norton’s Got Talent an event that makes everyone feel so proud to be part of this inspiring school community.”
