A PORSCHE driver who was arrested after a crash on the A64 which killed an 11-year-old boy has been released from bail.
Ahmad Abdulsalam from Bradford died at Grimston Bar on August 15, while he was on his way for a day out in Scarborough with his parents and three brothers.
The crash involved two cars and a van, and it was understood a car had hit an existing accident scene.
The Porsche driver, a man in his forties, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said he was this week released from bail and said: “The investigation is ongoing and a file has been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service for charging advice in relation to the man who was arrested in connection with the collision.”
