Top burger firm reveals chosen site for its first branch in York
A NATIONAL burger chain is eyeing a move into York city centre.
The Handmade Burger Co is looking to move into the former Trespass shop on the corner of Finkle Street and St Sampson’s Square.
A change of use application, from shop to restaurant, has been submitted to City of York Council. The company already has 28 branches nationwide, including in Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and Wakefield.
A Trespass spokesman said they have no relationship with the restaurant company, and could not comment about the shop’s future in York.
