FIRE fighters have put out a car fire after a crash near Malton.
Crews from Malton and Huntington were called to Mains Lane, Whitwell on the Hill, at 12.50am on Sunday when the hatchback carrying three people lost control and burst into flames.
Everyone inside the car managed to get out safely, but one female suffered serious injuries and she was taken to hospital with a man and woman.
