Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision in Wigginton Road at about 5.15pm yesterday.

The crash involved a BMW 1 series and a Jaguar XF.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The female occupant of the BMW was out of the vehicle and appeared uninjured.
