MORE parking spaces have been created for shoppers at the Talbot Yard Food Court in Malton.

As Talbot Yard Food Court has grown in popularity, the Fitzwilliam Estate were aware that parking in the yard was under pressure on busy days.

More parking has now been created directly behind Groovy Moo, adjacent to the Fersina Windows showroom, off Horsemarket Road.

The new car park, as well as making it easier for visitors to the food court at Talbot Yard, creates a new walkway connecting the food court with the heart of Market Street and the Market Place, via the newly renamed Talbot Yard passage.

Tom Naylor-Leyland, of Fitzwilliam Estate, said: “I am delighted that Talbot Yard Food Court has proved so popular and I am pleased the Estate has been able to help provide even more free parking in town. The new spaces are just 20 feet from Groovy Moo and the other excellent Made In Malton food producers.”
