Woman helped from car after Harton crash
FIRE crews were called out last night to the scene of a car which had left the road.
The crash happened on York Road, near Harton Lodge in Harton near the A64. Emergency services were called just before 11pm.
Crews from Huntington and York attended the scene, which had involved one vehicle leaving the road.
There was one female casualty inside the car. She wasn't trapped in the vehicle, but she was assisted from the car by fire crews using a triple-extension ladder.
According to a fire spokesperson she was left in the care of ambulance services.
