SALTERSGATE Farmers Hunt Country Show and Sports on Saturday has been declared a great success.
The show, which has expanded over the years, also saw a good number of visitors and perfect weather conditions.
There were numerous horse classes, including showjumping, a gymkhana and a team relay, as well as 14 showing classes.
Dogs were also well represented with dog agility performances, trail hounds, terriers, lurchers and whippets, as well as sheepdog trials.
Sheila Garbutt, a show organiser, said she was pleased with how the show had gone.
“We had a great day at the show with good entries in horse, dog and produce, cookery and photography classes," she said.
"The weather was just perfect and although we were slightly down on the gate everyone seemed to have had a wonderful time and we practically sold out of food so everyone must have gone home with full tummies.
"It was great to have hound classes on again this year after two years of not being able to hold them because of kennel cough. The public seemed to thoroughly enjoy them with children being encouraged to take part.
"Everyone works so hard to make the day a success but without support from exhibitors and the public we could not put a show on. It is huge thanks to them and all judges, stewards, etc that the show was such a success."
