A NEW car has been stolen from an address in Malton, in the early hours of this morning.
The theft, from an address on Showfield Lane, follows the theft of a mini-digger from the same street earlier this month.
Police said that at around half past midnight on Friday, July 22, there was a burglary at Dobson's Yard on Showfield Lane.
A new black Volvo XC90 was stolen.
The other burglary happened shortly before 7am on July 4.
A compound was broken into at the Windmill House Estate on Showfield Lane in Malton and the mini digger was stolen.
Police are now seeking information on the thefts.
Anyone with any information on the mini digger theft is asked to call the police on 101 and quote reference number 0072 of July 4, 2016.
Anyone with any information on the theft of the Volvo car is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 12160130108.
