THE best and worst towns and cities in Yorkshire for learner drivers have been revealed in new official figures.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has issued its 2015/16 pass rates for all centres.

Here in York, the pass rate was 54.5 per cent, against a national average of 47 per cent.

Here are the pass rates for test centres across Yorkshire. Whitby had the highest pass rate in the region, while Leeds had the lowest.
