A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Malton town centre.
The rider, a 23-year-old man from Helmsley, reportedly spoke to medics and police staff. He reported to officers that he wasn't sure what happened but didn't think any other vehicle was involved.
He was taken to York District Hospital with serious, but not believed to be life-threatening, injuries.
Emergency crews including fire services, police and paramedics attended the scene of the single-vehicle crash - involving an orange motorcycle - at the Yorkersgate-Castlegate crossroads on Tuesday afternoon.
