THE Swinging Sixties will live again along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway next month as it stages a special weekend inspired by the decade.

Pickering, Levisham and Goathland Stations will stage events including a pop-up museum of Sixties memorabilia and live music from the era.

Chris Price, General Manager at North Yorkshire Moors Railway, said: “Every year we look forward to our Swinging Sixties event and 2016 is no different.

"It’s always brilliant to see visitors both young and old turning out to celebrate what was a fun and liberating decade, and some of the fancy dress attempts always put a smile on the faces of our team, let alone the guests themselves.”

This year's event will be on July 2 and 3 and visitors are encouraged to dress up in Sixties costumes to join in the fun.
