POLICE have released CCTV images of four men they would like to speak to as part of their investigation into the theft of £1500 of alcohol from two supermarkets.

Officers want to speak to the men in connection with thefts from Sainsbury’s and Co-op stores in Whitby.

On Monday, May 23, shortly before 6pm, four men entered the Co-op on Langbourne Road, Whitby.

The men proceeded to do the same thing that had been done in the Co-op earlier that evening, and left the store with over £700 with of alcohol in their trolley without making any payment, according to police.

Police say that the men in the first three CCTV images were seen at both stores. The man in the fourth image was only seen at the Co-op.
