A 27-YEAR-OLD woman is in a critical but stable condition after being seriously injured in a crash in the Yorkshire Wolds.
The three-vehicle accident happened at the junction of Scarborough Road and High Street, near Octon, between Scarborough and Driffield at 1.45 pm on Sunday.
The woman, who was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary, is one of a total of seven people who were all injured and taken to hospital after the collision between a white Ford Transit van, a silver Toyota Hilux and black Nissan X-Trail.
The woman, who was travelling in the Nissan, was initially thought to have life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesman said: "Anyone with information about the incident, who has not yet spoken to police, is asked to call 101, quoting log number 353 of May 30."
