MALTON and Norton Tidy Group have begun to plant up some of the town entrance signs with plants purchased with a donation from the Broughton Manor developers Taylor Wimpey.
Lavender plants and grasses have been planted at the signs in Castle Howard Road, Broughton Road, Langton Road and Beverley Road.
It is hoped to compliment this work with additional planting that will add a splash of colour to the entrances to Malton, Norton on Derwent and Old Malton.
Anyone who can supply suitable plants, or who wants to get involved in some community gardening, is asked to contact the Tidy Group through their Facebook page - Malton Tidy Up.
