Man seriously assaulted in Norton
A YOUNG man was seriously assaulted in Norton on Saturday afternoon.
The man was kicked and punched in the head while lying on the floor in the middle of the road in Commercial Street by two other men at around 3pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "CCTV shows cars waiting to get past and also members of the public are walking up and down the street.
"However, not one person contacted the police or went to help this young man."
