SAINT Catherine’s Hospice is looking for runners to take part in one of the world's largest half marathons.
The hospice has secured five places for the Great North Run which will be held on Sunday, September 11.
Starting in the heart of Newcastle the 13.1-mile route takes runners over the Tyne Bridge and out to the coast of South Shields.
Saint Catherine's will allocate places on a first come first served basis of runners who successfully apply.
A £50 registration fee is required to secure the place and a minimum fundraising target of £350.
To apply, phone Louise in the fundraising department on 01723 378406 or email louise.gravestock@st-catherineshospice.org.uk
