Overnight break-ins at two restaurants
POLICE are investigating break-ins at two restaurants in Pickering.
At 4.30pm on Friday, February 5, it was reported that a restaurant in Birdgate had been broken into overnight.
Officers later received a call at 5.20pm to say that a restaurant in Hungate had also been broken into overnight.
Both premises were broken into via the rear entrance and tills had been forced. One till was opened and money stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything or has information which would help the investigations to contact them on 101 select option 1 and quote 12160021386 or 1216002188.
