POLICE are appealing for witnesses after thieves made off with a trailer containing three bouncy castles.
The trailer and its uninflated contents were stolen from a house on Main Street in Hutton Cranswick, near Driffield, between between 5pm on January 30 and 9.30am the next morning.
The trailer is described as a white box trailer, twin axle with postcode markings on roof.
The contents included a blue 'ocean-themed' bouncy castle, and two further bouncy castles, one red and one yellow.
In a statement, Humberside police asked if members of the public can help officers investigating this incident find those responsible, or whether they have been offered the stolen property.
The statement said: "Anyone that has information that could help officers in their investigations should contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 2166229.
"Knowingly buying stolen goods is an offence. If you know anyone who is buying or selling stolen goods, call Humberside Police on 101.
"Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, you won’t be asked your name and you could receive a cash reward."
