TWO pet dogs which went missing from their kennel have been found.
The two female puppies, who are sisters and are only 21 weeks old, were taken from Great Barugh, last week.
Owners Sarah Barton and her sister Rachel Watson, had bought the pair as pets and to provide them with security when they went to the nearby stables to look after their horses.
When they went missing Rachel's three young children, Thomas, seven, Arthur, four and Gabrielle, five, had written a letter to Santa asking him to bring them home for Christmas.
Rachel said she had received a phone call on Tuesday from a couple who said they had bought the dogs, both German Shepherd Cross Siberian Huskies called Duchess and Freyja, in Middlesbrough.
"We were delighted to get them back," she added.
"The dogs were a bit underweight and nervous at first but appear to be in good health."
"They seem happy enough and we are so glad to have them back"
Rachel said: "The children are over the moon - we had tried not to get their hopes up too much and they are overjoyed to see them both again."
