A CHRISTMAS Fair at a stately home in Ryedale is aiming to support small local businesses.
At the Newburgh Priory Christmas Fair, which will take place on Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4, over 95 per cent of the exhibitors will be from Yorkshire.
The event will also raise money for charity. A spokesperson for the Fair said: "We donate proceeds of the fair to Leeds Paediatric Rheumatology Department Supporting Juvenile Chronic Arthritis Trust Fund.

In addition to the fair, on the Thursday there will be a drinks reception and carols being sung by Queen Mary’s School Choir.
